Accept The Bike MS Challenge

Lauren Surbrugg | March 03, 2016
There are so many great reasons to be active, but one of the best is conquering a new wilderness adventure for the goodness of charity. Bike MS is a charity bike race that reaches many communities who are passionate about health and helping support MS (multiple sclerosis) research. Bicycling is an activity that can take you anywhere, and a race is a fun way to get together with other cyclers from your community to explore the wilderness your area has to offer.

Bike MS For Great Success

The most active state in the U.S. is Vermont, so today’s blog is going to focus on Bike MS: Green Mountain Getaway 2016 happening on Saturday, August 6 in South Burlington, VT. But it’s easy for you to find a Bike MS race in your state; then you just have to register, start fundraising, and get to cycling!

Choose Between 25, 60, and 100 Miles

The Green Mountain Getaway includes three different routes to include cyclers of all levels, including routes that are 25 miles, 60 miles, and 100 miles. Cyclers as young as 14-years-old can enter the race, but it takes dedication to bike at least 25 miles. The good news is that there are great training resources to help you prepare for the race.

How To Register For Your Wilderness Adventure

Folks interested in riding in the Green Mountain Getaway must register as an individual, team, or family for just $35 per person. The caveat is that each participant must raise $250 to donate to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Get some rest and then get moving! We can’t wait to see what the summer has to offer for Bike MS participants.
